THE PAYMENT OF REQUIRED DEPOSIT(S) OR FULL PAYMENT OF A RESERVATION ON A ESCORTED OR INDEPENDENT TOUR PACKAGE CONSTITUES CONSENT TO ALL PROVISIONS OF THE TERMS AND GENERAL INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS BROCHURE
BOOKING PROCEDURES:

DEPOSITS:
Deposits for all programs can only be made by check. A deposit of $250 per person for the escorted tours/ and 10% cost of the whole independent tour program must be received within 10 days of booking date. If not received , Alexander and Troy Tours has the right to cancel the booking. We strongly recommend you book your tour as early as possible to ensure your place on the desired tour.

REVISIONS:
Revisions made to an existing booking are subject to a change fee of $ 30 per booking once deposit is made. If full payment has been received and/or documentation has been processed, a fee of $ 100 per booking will be applied. Additional fees for air tickets, cruises and other services may also apply and will be advised at time of revision.

PAYMENT:
Full payment is due not later than 35 days prior to your departure from the U.S.A. If the booking is made less than 35 days before departure, the whole cost must be paid at the time of booking.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS:
Alexander and Troy Tours accepts major credit cards ( Visa, Master Card and American Express) for final payment for all programs. Credit Card charges will only be processed upon submission of a completed Alexander and Troy Tours Credit Card Form and Universal Credit Card form with the imprint of your credit card, your signature, billing address and home telephone number. No second-party credit cards will be accepted. Restrictions apply.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
ESCORTED/INDEPENDENT TOURS: Cancellation must be received in writing and signed by the tour participant. In the event that a tour participant cancels his or her booking, the following fees become payable: if the cancellation is actually received in writing by Alexander and Troy Tours more than 35 days prior to departure, an administrative fee of $75 per person is charged. If your notice is received within 35 days, the following fees apply;

AIR &LAND packages are based on non-refundable air fares. Once the air ticket has been issued, its value will be added to all the preceding cancellation fees. The $ 75 administrative fee and cancellation fees can be credited to another tour if purchased within 24 months from the original departure date. Passenger must retain copy of invoice in order to claim credit.
Alexander and Troy Tours reserves the right to cancel the whole or any part of a tour at any time as a result of force majeure or for any reason outside of Alexander and Troy Tours’s control, including but not limited to the failure of any third party perform, a full refund of all monies paid will be made.
Any applicable cancellation fees charged by a carrier from the point of departure are the responsibility of the tour participant, including but not limited to airline reservations cancelled by reason of a tour cancellation by either or tour participant of Alexander and Troy Tours.

REFUND OF UNUSED SERVICES (ON ALL TOURS):
Because Alexander and Troy Tours rates are based on group participation or minimum nights requirements once a tour commenced, no refunds can be made for any specific tour accommodation, sightseeing and other services not taken.

TOUR DOCUMENTS:
Tour documents will be issued approximately 14 days before departure, providing full payment has been received. Where payment is received within 14 days, an overnight document charges of $ 15 will be assessed and payment must be received by us prior to release of documents. In the event of late payment resulting in late delivery of documents, we accept no responsibility for the consequences thereof.

AIR TRANSPORTATION:
In addition to the fact that Air & Land packages are based on non-refundable air fares used in conjunction with Alexander and Troy Tours ground services may result in penalties. Please consult your travel agent or the airline for the applicable penalties and/or restrictions. If passengers purchase non-refundable air tickets, Alexander and Troy Tours cannot be responsible in the event a tour is cancelled.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION:
Ground transportation is provided in accordance with the itinerary by private car, van, minibus, midibus or motorcoach depending on the size of the group.

HOTELS:
Hotels are listed in the applicable section of the brochure. Unless otherwise specified, all rooms are “run of the house” Alexander and Troy Tours reserves the right to replace hotels with similar class hotels without prior notice to participants, if due to circumstances beyond its control. All facilities listed are those available at the time of printing and may be changed without prior notice. Hotels are classified by the operator using government ratings. Accommodations are based on two person sharing a twin-bedded room with private bath or shower Air conditioning is available at most 4 star or higher hotels. However, foreign air conditioning is not necessarily used according to U.S. standards.

CRUISES:
Accommodations are per description in the programs. Cruise lines and cruise ships may be substituted and itineraries slightly altered.

SEQUENCE OF TOUR PROGRAM:
During the national and local holidays, certain periods of conventions, congresses and other unforseen events, the Tour Operator may have to make last minute changes (subsequent to issuance of final itinerary ) in the sequence of the tour. Tours that operate during holiday periods may necessitate changes in hotels and sightseeing. As museums schedules change, other visits may be substituted on days museums are closed.

TRANSFERS:
All necessary group transfers between airports and hotels are included throughout the Escorted Tours. Due to government and international regulations, tour hosts may not be allowed inside the Customs and Security areas of the airport. Passenger should continue outside of the baggage claim are where a host will await you holding your name printed on a Alexander and Troy Tours sign for assistance and transfers. Airport transfers are included when participants travel on flights reserved for the group. Passenger arriving early or wishing to stay on after the conclusion of Alexander and Troy Tours tour in Istanbul will enjoy all transfer arrangements between hotel and airport as stated in the tour itinerary, even when these arrangements take place outside the specific tour dates.

MEALS:
As indicated on each itinerary. Continental or buffet breakfast daily at your hotel. Lunch or dinner daily at selected popular restaurants or hotels. All lunches and dinners at hotels or restaurants include only mineral water. All the drinks are available, at extra cost. On gulets, all meals are aboard and all drinks are available at extra cost.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOUR RATES:
Land rates do not include international flights between the countries and domestic flights in the country. Any expenses in the U.S., passport costs, visas, airport departure taxes, photography fees payable at admission sites, excess baggage, forwarding of baggage and souvenirs, meals not specified on the itineraries, all personal expenses incurred at the hotels and the customary tips to drivers and guides, which are left to tour participants discretion are not included.

AIRLINE CLAUSE:
The airlines concerned and their agents and affiliates are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their conveyances. The airline passenger tickets when issued, shall be the sole contracts between airline and buyer/passenger of these tickets.

CLAIMS:
Typewritten claims must be received within 30 days after scheduled return date.

BROCHURE PRINTING DISCLAIMER:
Alexander and Troy Tours Inc. is not responsible for any typographical or printer errors.

RESPONSIBILITY:
Alexander and Troy Tours and its international representatives, act only as an agent providing transportation, accommodation, meals and sightseeing. Alexander and Troy Tours and its representatives assumes no responsibility or liability for any injury, illness, death or property damage which occur directly or indirectly in connection with a Alexander and Troy Tours tour. By purchasing a Alexander and Troy Tours tour, you acknowledge and consent to Alexander and Troy Tours rules and participate in any and all activities at your own risk. As well, Alexander and Troy Tours cannot be held responsible for delays, schedule changes or overbookings by hotels and airlines, weather, strikes, quarantines, riots or political upheaval or similar. Alexander and Troy Tours will do everything in its power to avoid these inconveniences, however it cannot assume responsibility for the carriers and hotels. Any expenses which result will have to be incurred by the passenger.
The contract in use by the airline or boat company concerned when issued shall constitute the sole contract of air or boat transportation. The airlines and boat companies are not liable for any events that occur when passengers are not on board. Alexander and Troy Tours reserves the right to withdraw or alter any portion of a tour itinerary if events necessitate such a change and may be made without penalty to Alexander and Troy Tours. Any additional expenses which result will be incurred by the passengers. The right is also reserved to decline any person as a member of the group if they are causing physical or mental harm to others or to themselves.
Any and all disputes which arise between Alexander and Troy Tours and a passenger will be litigated, if at all, in a court located in the City of New York, U.S.A., to the exclusion of the courts of any other city, state or country.
Rates listed in the brochure are based on tariffs and exchange rates in effect at the time of printing, January 1999. All rates are subject to change.
The issuance and acceptance of travel documents and tickets for a tour is considered acceptance of all the above terms and conditions.
